Speaking Canis Familiaris

She's either wishing me a happy birthday or telling me to put the damn camera down already and take her for a walk. Tough call.

Hi Susan. Your map is close. We're farther north, actually north of Athens. (Athens has two things of note besides the University of Georgia, and despite the rain, we found both. Once is a double-barrelled cannon that was a total failure. It now sits in front of the City Hall. The other is an oak tree that owns itself. At some time, the owner willed the ground the tree is on to the tree.

Hi, My guess is that she is saying "Happy birthday and will you take me for a walk already??" I just got done taking a nice walk. It's in the upper 40's today.Have a great day.

She's probably saying, "Where's my mommy?"

Nope. I don't think that was what she was saying at all. Perhaps thank you for that tasty venison and venison bone that that other lady didn't even think to offer me. Maybe that.

I've found that dogs are funny about cameras. (Ours is too.) Someone explained that to a dog, you are your face - the rest of you is extraneous. (sp?) Since then, I have imagined my dog thinking of me as a floating head.
