The Tree House Watch

When the kids and I came back from Delaware, we discovered Rich had been up to something. While he may not have loaded the dishwasher, he did start a treehouse in the back yard for the kids. However, we seem to be at some sort of stopping point. My friends, Pete and Amy, are considering starting a pool on when the tree house will be completed.

Any interested participants should know Amy has already dibbed mid-July, 2012.

Good heavens, that thing must be a good two feet up in the air. Are you sure that it isn't a shrub-house?

Still, I'll bet when it's done it makes an awesome combination pirate ship/spacecraft/frontier fort for years to come.

Hey, that'll be AWESOME when he finishes it. Hope the kids are still able to fit on it by then...

There isn't a time that I would ever be upset to find myself pregnant. I am just trying to come to terms with the finality of this stage, you know? :(

Yeah, at my house, I'd say July 2012 would be about right also, lol. Yup, good luck with that~!

btw, I LOVED the comment you left about the HP movie!

In line with what your brother said: Boy, that must be the SAFEST (read: BORING-EST) treehouse I have ever seen!

(Unless it turns out it's supposed to be a high-rise and it has ten floors, this being the first.) (And I like that idea - a high-rise treehouse; as if to train kids to work in corporate America. "Hey, did you hear about Jason on 7?" "No, what?" "Apparently his mom packed carrots instead of potato chips and he had a total meltdown in the cafeteria.")

Now THAT is a safety tested treehouseNo worries falling out of that thing. Or is Shea going to have a private annex up higher, with a lock? BTW - I'm totally watching the store tonight - I'm over at Ted's working until 10. Guess I should clean something. =)
