The Summer Vacation season is upon us. We're kicking things off this weekend with a trip to Cape May, NJ. Atlee heard there's an ocean there, so she's pretty excited. Last night, my dad called us to point out that while we were going to be in Cape May this weekend, he and my mom were going to be in Atlantic City. At first I was all honored like when he said we should meet up. Then I realized it wasn't me, it was the grand kids they wanted to see.
This morning, I was telling Greeley that we were going to get to see Grandma this weekend. She started bouncing and hopping and saying, "Grandma! Grandma!" Hoping to point out that it wasn't just Grandma, but also Grandpa, I asked, "Hey, Greeley, who does Grandma hang out with? Who travels with Grandma? " Greeley said, "Um.... Cady the dog?" Maybe we can talk Grandpa into barking some.

Speaking of the summer vacation season, any decisions yet on when you might want to investigate the wilds of suburban Michigan?
We don't have an ocean or a Cady the Slightly-Less-Terrible-Than-She-Used-To-Be, but we do have a lake and a Katie the Beagle.
